Kaltar was raised in Aguascalientes, Mexico. At an early age, he showed a true passion for music and it wasn't long before his talent flourished on the piano.

As a teenager, Kaltar composed his first conceptual works and performed in several concerts. He furthered his development and understanding of the arts by involving himself in literature workshops. He experimented with a variety of instruments and began programming computer music software. While studying computer science engineering in Aguascalientes, Kaltar gave the first electronic music concert performed in the city.

He has collaborated with artists from around the world where his vanguard structures and haunting melodies got him raving reviews and support from the art community. After relocating to Miami, Kaltar founded "Asylum Studios", where he recorded the tour-de-force compositions found in the album "Emotional Backlash".
